Journal

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

The short version

I do not collect your data. I do not sell your data. Your journal entries are stored directly in your own Google Calendar — I never see them.

What this app does

This is a personal journaling app that writes entries to your Google Calendar using your own Google account. When you sign in with Google, the app receives an access token that lets it read and write calendar events on your behalf. That token is stored in your session and is only used to communicate with Google's Calendar API.

What is not collected or stored

  • Your journal entries are never sent to or stored on any server other than Google's.
  • No analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts are loaded.
  • No database of user data is maintained.
  • Your data is never sold, shared, or monetised in any way.

Cookies

This app uses cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (such as which calendar to use and event visibility). No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Google OAuth

Sign-in is handled via Google OAuth. The app requests access only to your Google Calendar. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account permissions page.
